Labradorite

Spyglass Designs' labradorite jewelry is handcrafted in earrings, necklaces, pendants, and bracelets set in 14k solid gold, 14k gold-filled, and sterling silver. Labradorite looks like plain grey stone until it catches the light, and then it flashes blue, green, or gold from inside. The effect has its own name — labradorescence — and no two stones flash quite alike.

Each piece is designed with the same casual, classic elegance as the rest of our collection — simple enough for everyday wear, polished enough for something special. This is one of our largest collections, with bezel-set drops from under an inch to two and a half, sterling silver cabochon pendants, post studs, bezel-set bracelets, and beaded and bezel-set necklaces. Some pieces are finished in black rhodium, which sets off the blue flash particularly well, and one rare pendant flashes purple rather than blue.
